Clean Nova Scotia’s FLEETWISER Program is working to improve vehicle fleet efficiency; to reduce fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and business costs.  Participating fleet managers and operators receive free consultation, training and resources to produce measurable efficiency improvements.

The program delivers fleet energy efficiency through education, technology, outreach, and driver awareness initiatives.  Fleet baseline data, NRCan online Fleet Tool accounts, and individual fleet action plans are in development. The knowledge and tools gained from the project will be used as appropriate to improve the fuel efficiency of other fleets who are interested.  Measurable results will be directly translated into reductions of GHG emissions.
